Our History
Force56 Audio Software was founded in 2024 by Alonso Varas, a lifelong computer programmer and passionate music enthusiast dedicated to bringing vintage hardware back to life through modern software.
We believe that the sound and design of classic machines deserve to be experienced by new generations of musicians. Many of these instruments have become increasingly rare or expensive to obtain, often found only through second-hand markets. Our goal is to make their unique character accessible again, in a format that fits seamlessly into today’s DAWs.
Each Force56 plugin is built with respect for the original hardware, carefully preserving its sonic identity while adding the convenience and reliability of modern production tools.
All software products are proudly designed and developed at our headquarters in Santiago, Chile.
